First off I have to say that New Wave in Wantagh is simply incredible.It is probably the cleanest and friendliest place around. Just good people. Very comfortable and my dinner was great. Cooked perfectly and tasted awesome. I could eat this dish everyday. Beer is always nice and cold.

I never write a review however, I found the need to write to say "I ordered the shrimp scampi for dinner and it was totally delicious! The shrimp in abundance were so extremely fresh and, the scampi sauce outstanding! Unlike any scampi sauce I ever had." I highly-recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting and those who have dined there call the New Wave Seafood Restaurant "their New Seafood" restaurant! The Wait Staff are friendly, courteous and very attentive! Congratulations to All!

The Shrimp Parmigiana was the best I've ever had. The portion of shrimp was plentiful, and they were incredibly fresh and large in size. The red sauce was the tastiest I've ever tasted, surpassing any Italian restaurant's. This was my second time having this meal, and I'm already looking forward to a third!"

Lobster bisque and Broiled seafarers combo were outstanding!!! Cole slaw is creamy and flavorful, potatoes were crisp . The apple cider specialty drink was delicious, the fried pickles with piquant horseradish sauce were a great choice for a sharing appetizer. This restaurant is a new find for us and we are sure to become regulars!

First time to this fantastic restaurant. We started with the mussels as an appetizer. An overflowing bowl in a delicious broth with garlicky bread to dip. These mussels were sweet, plump and delicious.
